Relais & Châteaux Martini Contest for Female Mixologists
It’s time to shake things up with style and sophistication with the Relais & Châteaux Bond Girl Inspired Martini Contest.
To enter, create a video, 2 to 3 minutes in length, of yourself preparing your martini and explain why it's the best choice for Bond Girls to imbibe. Upload your video to a video sharing website (YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, etc.) and send us a link to it. Existing video that shows you mixing a drink will also be accepted.
- If you already have a YouTube, MySpace or Facebook account, you know what to do.
- If not, go to your desired website and create a personal account. These sites are free to join.
- Follow the directions on the website to upload your video, then send us the direct link to the video.
Videos cannot be directly attached through this entry form - only a link to the video will be accepted.
Fill out the contest entry form below with your recipe. Your cocktail should be smooth, cool and sophisticated - in true Bond style.
All submissions must be received by midnight EST Friday, November 20. Five finalists will be selected from all entries to participate in a final round of in-person judging in Manhattan on the evening of Monday, November 30. Finalists will be notified via e-mail or phone on or before Monday, November 23.
The winner will receive a two-night stay for two at one of the fabulous properties to be selected as new U.S. members of Relais & Châteaux for 2010, have their cocktail served at select Relais & Châteaux resorts, and their video and recipe featured on the Relais & Châteaux Facebook page.

Entrants Must:
- Be 21 years of age or older to enter.
- Be able to attend the final judging event at the Relais & Châteaux Maison in Manhattan on the evening of Monday, November 30, 2009 to prepare your cocktail. Transportation costs to and from the event are the responsibility of the contestant.
- Agree to allow Relais & Châteaux to use your recipe for promotional purposes.
- Agree to have your name/likeness and video used for promotional purposes.
- Be available for interviews related to the contest.
- Be a legal resident of the U.S.
Additional Contest Rules:
- Recipes submitted must be your own original concoction. Copying a recipe from a book or website will get you disqualified.
- You authorize that your recipe may be reprinted on the Relais & Châteaux Facebook page or web site at our sole discretion.
- We must be able to create your martini recipe for sampling, based on the information you submit.
- The winner will be determined by our judges and all decisions are final.
- Contest ends at midnight EST on Friday, November 20, 2009. Finalists will be notified on or about Monday, November 23. Winner will be chosen on the evening of Monday, November 30 and must be present to win.
- No purchase necessary to enter.
- We will not spam you! Entering our contest will not put you on a mailing list - nor will your information be released or sold.
- Relais & Châteaux reserves the right to serve the winning cocktail at select member properties at its sole discretion.
