Bob Marston, who began his career in public relations more than 40 years ago, is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Robert Marston And Associates and chairman and chief executive officer of its affiliated companies.

Highly active in the firm, he is closely involved in the strategic planning for all clients and in the agency's day-to-day operational activities.

Since forming the agency in 1970, Marston has developed programs and campaigns for many of the country's largest corporations, including AT&T, General Motors, Merck, The Home Depot, Chrysler, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Schering-Plough, 3M, Levi Strauss, Procter & Gamble, Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi-Cola, Avon, Quaker Oats, H.J Heinz, Campbell Soup, Control Data, MasterCard International, Diners Club, Albertson's, Supervalu, Honeywell, National Car Rental, The Dial Corp, Wang Laboratories, J.C. Penney, American Airlines, DuPont, Nalco, Corning Glass, Fisher-Price, Pillsbury, Brown-Forman Corporation, Ernst & Young, Bristol-Myers and many more leading corporations.

Marston's career continues to involve him directly in the creative, as well as the managerial, areas of the agency. He has specialized in high-level counseling of C-Suite executives of some of the world’s most successful companies and is a known expert in crisis management.

Marston’s other specialties are in the corporate and financial side of the business, where he has developed and supervised programs for numerous Wall Street financial services and management consulting companies such as Dean Witter Reynolds, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse First Boston, Alex. Brown & Sons, John Hancock Financial Services, INA, Ernst & Young, Coopers & Lybrand, KPMG Peat Marwick, Spencer Stuart and Citigroup, and has played a key role in generating major results for these and scores of other corporate clients in the business media.

Mr. Marston has also written extensively for numerous business journals during his career.
